Welcome to REDS!

Located in the heart of Midlothian, Redeemer Episcopal Day School serves children ages 2 through 6th grade. Our holistic approach focuses on developing the social, emotional, physical, mental, and academic attributes essential for our students to become active, responsible citizens.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support the development of the whole child by honoring that students learn best when involved in active learning techniques. With a focus on strong academics, creative thinking and spiritual development, our students achieve success and are inspired to make a difference in the classroom and the greater community.

Providing students with a well-rounded education that focuses on exploration and creativity while taking our learning beyond the classroom walls.  

Our Preschool

Through play-based/hands-on learning, our students are able to build a strong foundation for higher education.

"The teachers and staff at REDS serve their students and families with joy.
The project-based, hands-on learning has sparked creativity and a new interest in learning for my first grader. My preschooler loves school because he gets to play and doesn't realize he is actually working and learning. My children spend their school days in a place where the emphasis is on the whole student.
REDS teachers are not only shaping minds but encouraging the hearts of my children. Building character, being a thoughtful classroom citizen, encouraging confidence and emotional growth is what it really means to be a REDS family. We are so blessed to be a part of this school!"
